Hydro-S 101

Use

Hydro-S 101 is boiler composition can be used in high- and low-pressure boilers, whether they are fire-tube or water-tube boilers, steam generators or others.

Features

Prevents boiler operational problems: “Carryover”, “Priming”, “Foaming”.

Prevents all types of metal corrosion, in addition to preventing rust formation resulting from dissolved oxygen in the water.

Works to dissolve and break down old accumulated deposits.

Adjusts the pH of the boiler water.

Produces pure, neutral steam suitable for the food industries, meaning it is (Food approved).

Feeding

The quantity of Hydro-S 101 required for any given application will depend on such factors as the volume, and the water quality.

Hydro-S 101 may be fed directly from the drum or diluted with water and fed by any suitable chemical feed system. 

Appearance-odor

Hydro-S 101 is Chestnut-colored, with a faint odor resembling ammonia.

First aid

If Hydro-S 101 has been ingested, purging of the stomach should be attempted by drinking large quantities of milk or water. Fruit juice can be useful, since it contains a weak acid, which acts as a neutralizing agent. 

Vomiting may occur but should not be deliberately provoked. Move patient to the hospital as quickly as possible. 

Skin: immediately rinse the affected place with large quantities of water and remove contaminated clothing. 

Do not stop rinsing too soon. In serious cases, visit the first aid station. 

If any of the substance has splashed into the eyes, immediately rinse with large quantities of water and an attempt should be made to loosen the eyelids. Rinsing should be continued for at least 15 minutes. 

The patient should be taken to an eye specialist or to other medical help. 

Safety regulations 

Eye rinsing (flushing) equipment. 

Safety shower. 

Safety goggles or face shield and protective gloves must always be worn when the material is being handled. 

Caution during use: spillage of Hydro-S 101 upon floor or linoleum will cause railing or floor become slippery. 

Caution during storage: Avoid storage in neighborhood of acids. Hydro-S 101 must be stored where it is inaccessible by children and in a place and manner which easily permit rinsing.
