Hydro-s 102 (B)

Use

Hydro-S 102 B is a liquid broad-spectrum biocide for control of bacteria, fungi and algae in industrial water systems such as recirculating water systems, pasteurizers, air washer systems, membrane separation systems, coatings, emulsion polymers and adhesives. Hydro-S 102 B provides long lasting killing effects and is recommended in systems with a pH between 6-9,5. Hydro-S 102 B is easily detoxified so it can be applied even in environmentally sensitive areas.

Features

Effectively controls spore and non-spore forming bacteria, SRB’s, Fe-bacteria, algae and fungi.

Provides a long-lasting killing effect, which enables less frequent biocide additions.

Feeding

The quantity of Hydro-S 102 B required for any given application will depend on such factors as the type and volume of the system, the extent of microbiological contamination and the degree of control required.

Hydro-S 102 B may be fed directly from the drum or diluted with water and fed by any suitable chemical feed system. Hydro-S 102 B should be dosed directly into the sump or basin or any location where good distribution can be assured.

Appearance-odor 

Hydro-S 102 B chemical is clear to light cloudy liquid. 

First aid 

If Hydro-S 102 B has been ingested, purging of the stomach should be attempted by drinking large quantities of milk or water. Fruit juice can be useful, since it contains a weak acid, which acts as a neutralizing agent. 

Vomiting may occur but should not be deliberately provoked. Move patient to the hospital as quickly as possible. 

Skin: immediately rinse the affected place with large quantities of water and remove contaminated clothing. 

Do not stop rinsing too soon. In serious cases, visit the first aid station. 

If any of the substance has splashed into the eyes, immediately rinse with large quantities of water and an attempt should be made to loosen the eyelids. Rinsing should be continued for at least 15 minutes. 

The patient should be taken to an eye specialist or to other medical help. 

Safety regulations 

Eye rinsing (flushing) equipment. 

Safety shower. 

Safety goggles or face shield and protective gloves must always be worn when the material is being handled. 

Caution during use: spillage of Hydro-S 102 B upon floor or linoleum will cause railing or floor become slippery. 

Caution during storage: Avoid storage in neighborhood of acids. Hydro-S 102 B must be stored where it is inaccessible by children and in a place and manner which easily permit rinsing.
